Where red steel sleeps at journey’s end,
No more to roll, no coal to spend,
A whisper of the rails remains —
A resting ghost of southern trains.

Just cross the way from iron’s past,
Where smoke and spice are rising fast,
The scent of flame, the taste of heat —
That’s where the trail and flavor meet.

Snap a selfie or proof you were there — no internet pics.

SOLUTION: The first stanza describes the old red caboose and train display at Propst Park—“red steel” now still, a relic of rail history. The second shifts focus across the street to Mo Jam’s BBQ, where smoke and spice mark its presence. The clue links the past (the train) with the present (the BBQ), guiding players from the display to the restaurant “where the trail and flavor meet.”
